Earl Kingsbury, Augusta Location

Our November spotlighted member says GoZone was the finishing touch. Now he’s inspiring others!

Meet the latest of our spotlighted members who works out at GoZone Augusta Earl Kingsbury!  Prior to GoZone, Earl claims to have been a fickle at home treadmill and universal weight system user.  He is now one of our most devoted Zoners and comes an average of 4x a week!  He loves working out with the Primal 7s and especially enjoyed Bill’s infamous bootcamp where they were featured.  His preferred class to challenge himself is POWER.

Earl is a baseball enthusiast and the assistant varsity coach at Halldale high school.  He says the baseball field is one of his favorite places to be.  He also likes ice fishing and golfing. Full time he is the director of the Augusta Civic Center and is on the board of trade for Augusta, Babe Ruth Baseball and an active member of the Augusta Chamber of Commerce.  Earl loves a challenge which is obvious to other Zoners in and out of class.  It is also reflected with his taking classes at UMA to get a degree in public administration.

He credits much of his balance and happiness to his wife Lorraine who is also a Zoner and the influence behind his stepping into GoZone in the first place.  He is also blessed with a 23-year-old son (a recent graduate of Virginia Tech), and three Japanese chins (Oliver, Charlie, and Nikko) and two cats (Rooster and Hokie).

There are many reasons that Earl loves working out with fellow Zoners.  He says even though he loved his family, friend and families, he felt something was missing and discovered GoZone filled the void!  What brings him back in sweat after sweat is the people, awesome trainers and how fit he feels, finding his “fit fam” truly inspiring.
